How R.E.D.tunes works
Set the groove in the transport: tempo, time signature, length, key and scale. Swing delays every other 16th; Humanize adds tiny timing and velocity drift.
Drums live in the sequencer. Click or drag across steps to paint, Shift-click for a soft ghost hit.
Bass, Piano, Synth, Pluck and Pad are written in the piano roll. Click a melodic lane to open it. Click to add a note, drag to lengthen, drag a note to move it, click it again to delete. Shift-click toggles a soft note. The Chord setting stamps triads or 7ths in key.
Notes are stored as scale degrees, so changing the key or scale re-voices every melody to fit.
Sound design: select a track to shape it with knobs. Drag up or down, Shift-drag for fine control, double-click to reset.
Export renders an offline mixdown as WAV (16 or 24-bit) or MP3, at whatever length you choose.
